RECLAIMING THE SABBATH & PRAYER

Make the Message Matter (Fr. Michael White) The homily or the “message” is crucial to the weekend experience; it forms the congregation’s attitude toward Scripture and it is where unchurched people “get fed.”

Here Comes Everybody (Panel) How can we welcome a person or a family when they first come to the parish? Suggestions offered drawn from real-life stories.

Family/Kid Friendly Worship (Louise Cormier & Joanne Murray) Learn how to make families and children feel more included in the parish weekly celebration.

Small Groups Matter (Tom Corcoran) Tips offered on how to get small faith-sharing groups up and running in your parish as well as how to improve existing ones.

Putting Prayer at the Heart of Your Parish (Archbishop Christian Lépine) Introduce ways to make prayer integral to the parish community at all levels, from families at home to the administration of the parish.
